La Taras Boulba est une bière de soif, légère et rafraîchissante, au caractère bien affirmé. C’est une bière blonde, légèrement voilée.
Au nez elle développe des fragrances de houblons nobles ajoutés à froid (dry-hopping), qui lui apportent une touche herbacée, florale et légèrement citronnée.
Le tout est complété par des notes maltées de céréales fraîches ainsi que par des arômes fruités/épicés de fermentation. Son amertume est puissante et sa finale très sèche.
Taras Boulba is een dorstlessend bier, licht en verfrissend, maar met een sterk karakter. Blond en licht troebel, het ontwikkelt aroma’s van nobele hops in dry-hopping, die haar een kruidige, bloemige en licht citroenachtige toets geven. Haar bitterheid is krachtig, haar finale is heel droog. Haar profiel is vervolmaakt door toetsen van mout en verse granen, en door fruitige/kruidige fermentatie-aroma’s.
Taras Boulba is a thirst-quencher, light and refreshing, but with a well-affirmed character. Blond and slightly hazy, it develops fragrances of noble hops in dry hopping, which give it herbal, floral, and light citrus notes. It has a powerful bitterness and a dry finale. Its profile is completed by malty notes of fresh cereals, as well as by fruity/spicy fermentation flavours.
